| Objectives | Preparation for a career in Management requires a broadly-based, balanced liberal education. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Programme emphasizes an understanding of the economical, social, political and cultural environments coupled with the acquisition of necessary problem solving, decision making and leadership skills. The BBA Programme prepares the students for careers in the industry and for graduate study in Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Public Administration or related fields. BBA is a Three Year (Six Semester) under-graduate Business Management and Administration course that is designed to train the students to acquire necessary Managerial skills. As per the changing need of industries, to develop such skills, the students have to undertake a series of academic activities such as lectures, seminars, case studies, role plays, workshops, group discussions, quiz competitions, industrial visit etc., which expose them to the practical knowledge. In a nutshell, the course equips the students with the Managerial skills or employment in any organization. |
| Outline | The course covers all the major areas of management like Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Business Law, Banking, Computers, Communication skills. Personality development, Management Information Systems, Taxation, Production Management etc., In each area, topics/units are arranged in such a way that the student learns from the concepts in logical style to maintain perfect harmony and continuity. Subject advancement is made in subsequently succeeding years where the students specialize in specific areas. |
| Eligibility | Students seeking admission to the BBA course must have passed Intermediate / 10+2 Examination or equivalent of any recognized Board or Council in any discipline. |
| Outcome of the Programme | After successful completion of BBA, student will be able to – Pursue Higher Studies in Management related programmes. – Take up Computer Courses in Management, Accounts & Finance, MIS, E-Commerce, SAP. – Study PG Diploma Course in Management Studies – Take up Professional Courses such as CA, ICWA, MBA, MFM, CFA, Law |
